IBM Mainframe Systems Operator Level II Certificate RPL 2.4 to 3.1

This is a z/OS 3.1 RPL (Recognized Prior Learning) certificate for those who have previously earned the IBM Mainframe Systems Operator Level II Certificate 2.4. Learners must have completed the IBM Mainframe Systems Operator Level II Certificate 2.4 prior to attempting this.

This certificate validates that the learner can perform a manual z/OS IPL and Shutdown and understands how this process is automated. They can confidently monitor system and batch activity, including job output using console screens and SDSF. This person has attained more advanced JCL skills, being able to create a range of data sets, including GDGs, execute procedures and code conditional processing statements.

 

Earning Criteria

  • Must have previously completed the IBM Mainframe Systems Operator Level II Certificate 2.4
  • Video – Systems Operator Level II Refresh (2.4 to 3.1) – Overview
  • Course – Systems Operator Level II Midterm Exam Refresh (2.4 to 3.1)
  • Exam – Systems Operator Level II Certificate Refresh (2.4 to 3.1)  – Midterm
  • Course – Systems Operator Level II Final Exam Refresh (2.4 to 3.1)
  • Exam – Systems Operator Level II Certificate Refresh (2.4 to 3.1) – Final
